Grace Institute serves all people who identify as women, including trans women and gender-expansive individuals. Through free workplace training, wraparound support services, job placement, and an extensive alumnae network, Grace Institute provides all of the tools necessary for women to realize their career aspirations and enter the workforce with confidence. We are proud to support a group of diverse, skillful, and experienced professionals on their path to success and aim to be a model of inclusion.

Our Participants bring a diversity of experience, background, and identity to the workforce. With Grace Institute’s strength-based training, participants access career-track jobs that help redress inequities in the workforce, and strengthen their families and communities. We foster an inclusive training environment built around respect for individual perspectives.

Our recruitment and hiring practices reflect a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and prioritize hiring from our own alumnae network. Our Action Steps

We work to fulfill our DEI goals through the following:

  • Wraparound services during training including technology access, childcare referrals, flexible scheduling, transportation assistance, benefits counseling, and other support
  • Job placement practices reflective of our commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Staff training and professional development opportunities
  • Encouraging work/life balance through flexible scheduling, hybrid work, wellness stipends
