Last week, our program team participated in NYC Education and Training Coalitions annual summit at BMCC. The event brought together 300 workforce development leaders and their teams to explore issues within the sector.
On Friday, I joined a group of fellow EDs for a meeting with the acting Commissioner for the NY State Dept. of Labor. The discussion centered on city and state funding, new government initiatives and expanding collaboration between state and local community-based organizations. The more of these forums that I attend, the more brand recognition we have. I hope it continues to position us as a market leader and sets us up for future government funding.
We are comfortable in our temporary home at 431 Canal Street and encourage everyone to come visit us!
