Below are some of the past events that Grace Institute Alumnae have participated in.
April 2012: Multiple Sclerosis Walk
Over thirty alumnae, students, and staff wearing Grace t-shirts took to the streets surrounding the South Street Seaport to show their support for the National MS Society.
October 2011: ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
Over fifty alumnae, students, and staff wearing Grace t-shirts congregated at the Bandshell in Central Park to show their support for the American Cancer Society. They walked 5.1 miles on a beautiful Fall morning!
March 2008: Volunteer at Grace
On March 11th, 2008, Grace Institute hosted its first-ever juried art exhibition, Never Routine: Women in the Course of Their Daily Lives. Grace Institute Alumnae were invited to volunteer at the event.
October 2008: Voter Education and Registration
Capturing the excitement of the presidential election, Grace Institute held a voter education program entitled, "The Mystery behind Voting Revealed" on October first. Students, alumnae, and guests enjoyed a presentation by the League of Women Voters on the history of voting and its importance. A voter registration table was set up in the front lobby.
June 2007: "Practical Make Up Tips"
Over fifty graduates from various classes gathered at Grace for a "Night of Beauty." A representative from L’Oréal gave a presentation on the dos and don’ts of make up application and the difference between business and everyday make up.
